The SolvePrep Pass Guarantee
If you prepare with SolvePrep and still don't pass the McKinsey Solve assessment, we refund your purchase in full. Here's exactly how it works.
Last updated:
The short version
- Complete 8+ full runs before your test date
- Forward McKinsey's outcome notification within 30 days of receiving it
- Get a full refund
- Plus a 7-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked
Who it covers
- Elite plan customers. (The Solver Only plan is a single tool and is covered by the standard 7-day money-back guarantee instead.)
What you need to do
- Complete at least 8 full practice runs on SolvePrep before your test date. A "full run" is a completed timed simulation of any of the three games (partial or abandoned runs don't count). We verify this automatically from your account activity.
- Take the real McKinsey Solve assessment.
How to claim
- Email guarantee@solveprep.com within 30 days of receiving McKinsey's outcome notification.
- Include the email address on your SolvePrep account and a copy or forward of McKinsey's outcome notification.
- We verify your run count and purchase, and refund the full purchase price to your original payment method within 10 business days.
The honest details
- One claim per customer.
- The guarantee covers the first Solve attempt taken after your purchase. The 30-day claim window is anchored to the outcome notification McKinsey sends you for that attempt.
- This guarantee is voluntary and granted by Kaernix LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Your statutory rights, including the standard 7-day money-back guarantee, remain unaffected and exist alongside it.
Why this guarantee exists
Simple incentive alignment: I only win if you pass. A refunded prepared candidate costs me $79; an unprepared one costs you the offer. I'd rather guarantee the work than argue about the outcome. — Tom
